Over the coming weeks Arkio seeks solice in prayer and being surrounded with his Battle-Brothers. He feels closer now to his squad than ever before and has very high expectations for his younger Brother-Librarian, Lexicanum Montressor. They spend much time together on reconaissance missions, Arkio donning scout armour so that they may hunt or scour for supplies. Also learning what they can from each other, he teaches his Brother-Lexicanum what he knows of the terrible Tyranid scourge and the forces of Chaos. Having much experience with such, he is sure his Brother-Librarian can benefit from his knowledge. Arkio intends to determine whether this planet would be a beneficial target for the forces of the Imperium to converge apon. Weighing the pro’s of military applicability or material resources versus the con’s of a direct war against the Tao. He intends to report his findings upon safe return to the Ocullus, Emperor willing it still remains intact. Arkio also finds himself seeking regular audience with Chaplain Tidus, following him in prayer and any rites or passages to which he may assist. Arkio makes several attempts to convince the Black Templar, Dane, into teaching him to properly pilot their aircraft. Being in his nature as a Blood Angel, proficient in Air Combat tactics, he thinks himself an excellent candidate. Therefore, he expresses the gravity of the situation: Since losing the landspeeder, they cannot afford to lose another aircraft. He hopes his Brother can looks past the prejudices the Templar have for Psykers and teach him for the better of the kill team. If so, he devotes as much time he can practicing, without drastically affecting or depleting their limit fuel supplies. Other than that, he attempts to keep his brothers in high spirits, telling stories of glory from his past, even sharing visions he has had of things to come. He speaks of the loss he feels for his fallen brethren, Brother Lothar Wavebreaker, Brother Markadon and fellow Blood Angel, Brother Prothus. This is another strange behavior for a librarian normally, but Arkio feels that by expressing himself deeply that he might forge the bonds between him and his squad. That the path to enlightenment is through humility, not pride or vanity.
